Mindset

In Mindset by Carol Dweck, she introduces a powerful idea:

"Becoming is better than being."

Dweck explains that those with a growth mindset—who believe abilities and intelligence can be developed—are more likely to embrace challenges, persevere through obstacles, and ultimately reach higher levels of success. This mindset encourages continuous improvement, adaptability, and resilience.

In contrast, those with a fixed mindset see their abilities as static, avoiding challenges and fearing failure. The key to unlocking greater potential lies in adopting a growth mindset, where every setback is viewed as an opportunity for learning.

Fixed or growth—what’s your mindset? How could shifting your mindset lead to better outcomes in your personal or professional life?

Challenge yourself to learn something new today. It’s the first step in becoming your best self.
